Audi Triumphs In Le Mans...With Support From Creative Technology

The Audi Team triumphed at the 24 Hours Race in Le Mans this year and relied for the third time on its technology partner CT with various live broadcast and streaming, LED, video and audio technology located in five positions around the race track venue.
For the Audi VIP guest lounges CT assisted the live broadcast of the 24 Hour Race and the Race News, in HD quality, on LED screens and HD LC-displays. The latest news production and numerous background information was delivered by CT utilizing an array of broadcast equipment with various HD cameras, vision mixers, HD matrix switchers and multiple linear and non-linear editing suites operating Avid and Final Cut Pro. In addition, the team from CT’s operation in Stuttgart, Germany was responsible for the routing of 70 input signals, 180 output signals and audio editing. Furthermore, three remote studios at the race circuit were linked to the production studio via satellite and fiber optic systems.
An exclusive highlight for the Audi VIP guests was the live streaming from the three onboard cameras fixed to three Audi R18 TDi race cars and broadcast directly to the VIP guests’ mobile devices (Blackberry, iPad, iPhone etc.), all made possible by CT's streaming system.
The video and audio equipment for the VIP locations was comprised of high-resolution LED screens, numerous HD LC-displays in various sizes up to 103“, as well as Meyer Sound and d&b audiotechnik audio systems.
