
Victoria Secret Fashion Show
Miami Beach, Fl – The lingerie industry’s most elaborate evening took place at the newly renovated Fontainebleau Miami Beach before a star-studded audience. Supermodel Heidi Klum and Top Models Alessandra Ambrosio, Selita Ebanks, Doutzen Kroes, Adriana Lima, Marisa Miller, Miranda Kerr and Karolina Kurkova were joined by 30 of the world’s most beautiful models to star in the 2008 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, which aired on CBS Wednesday, December 3rd and was watched by 8.7 million viewers. The show also included a performance by recording artist Usher, supported by a full orchestra for a medley of old and new hits, as models hit the runway donning a couture collection of bras, panties and sleepwear.
Chosen by Producers Done and Dusted Inc and fashion staging company OBO, audio visual staging services provider Creative Technology supplied 70 sq meters of Martin 40mm scenic LED panels, (12) Christie +S20 Video Projectors, (8) Dataton Watchout HD presentation systems and technical support services. Animation content for both the projection surfaces and the LED monoliths was created by the Hollywood design agency Imaginary Forces.
Supporting a glittery catwalk and silver palm trees, center stage featured a backdrop of three screens displaying bold, stunning graphics and text. Each screen consisted of (5) individual panels 6’ wide by 35’ tall with 6” gaps between panels and was backed by 4 Christie projectors. Models entered and exited behind Martin scenic LED walls positioned stage right and left. Each wall was configured in three strips, two (3) wide by (5) high and one (2) wide by (5) high and also displayed text and graphics. All display devices were controlled by Watchout HD widescreen presentation systems providing an incredible array of widescreen effects across all screens and LED walls.
